Posted on Jan 08, 2008 under Fitness, health | 2 CommentsMany people say I just can’t lose weight, I hear it from my mother all the time. She’s watching me lose and saying that she can’t
do it because she doesn’t have time. Okay I get that but there are still things that beginners can do to lose weight.
5. Watch your carb intake, now if your diabetic, you should have seen a nutritionist and gotten a meal plan. If you haven’t stick to 60 grams of carbs per meal. If your a women you can bring it down to 45.
4. Snack, you should not go more then 4 hours without a snack. Snacks keep you energized and keep you from going crazy later.
3. Do workouts in short burst. If your stretched for time, remember 5 or 10 minutes is better then nothing. I have found that if I don’t have time to do much. I take 5 minutes and stretch and lift weights. At least this way your building muscle that will help you burn fat later.
2. Do something you love to do. Yoga or dancing. If you don’t like going to the gym get a workout video and do it in the comfort of your own home. If you like to dance, put on some music and dance. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you move.
1. Remember weight loss is not just a number on the scale. Muscle weighs more the fat so you may find you actually gain weight at first or every so often, just keep going. Measure yourself when you start and keep track of those measurements, they will tell you if your really losing weight.
