Monday weigh in
Posted on Feb 25, 2008 under My Weight loss | No CommentI have had a very weird week! I went up to 287 on Thursday. I felt bad and wanted to know why so I checked the scale. I then understood why I felt so horrible. I figured I had to be retaining water so I wasn’t really worried. I figured if today I was that high I would have to start really working hard, so what was my weight today?
277lbs.
I was very happy to see this number today! Even though I’m back to where I was last week, I’m still okay with it. The good news is I have decided to put my treadmill to use. I really want to lose 50lbs by June so I can look better in a swim suit! I’m not going to look hot, but better. My plan is to walk 5 miles a week, one mile a day to start. The other reason I want to lose weight by June is for the NASCAR race, no I’m not hoping to hook up with a driver or anything I really want to be fit enough to walk around the track all day. I did it before and it wasn’t too bad, but it was still hard. I want it to be much easier to do. So that will be the big test of my weight loss. I haven’t been to the track in almost 2 years. I went the year before I was diagnosed and I had a lot of the symptoms while I was there, I just didn’t think it could be diabetes. So I’m hoping I can walk around more and feel better while I’m there.
