Vision worries
Posted on Mar 01, 2008 under Diabetes research |I was reading an article today on yahoo about how they have found that blindness damage occurs before the blood sugar level used to diagnose diabetes. It’s interesting what they have found and now I understand why my doctor wants me to test my sugar after eating also. At least once a day I have to check after I eat.
I think I do agree with the article that they need to lower the blood sugar level they use to diagnose diabetes. I have known a few people who were borderline, but because they were not called diabetic they didn’t do anything to keep from getting it. Eventually it got really out of control and they had a ton of health problems because of it.
